Come for the weekend. Stay for the fundraiser. The only structured agenda is 4–11 PM—everything else is yours to fill with golf, sporting clays, mountain air, Parkway views, and good company. Golf and sporting clays are complimentary for all ticketed guests.

The structured program runs 4–11 PM, but there’s no reason to arrive at 4. Golf, sporting clays, and the mountain itself are available from midday on. Lodging is available if you want to make a full night—or a full weekend—of it.
Tee times start at 11:30 AM on September 21. Book your foursome before you arrive—tee times run every 15 minutes and the course fills.
Sporting clays are available throughout the afternoon. Reserve your shoot time in advance so you’re not waiting when you roll in.

Designed by Donald Steel and opened in 2006, the Highland Course delivers breathtaking Blue Ridge views at every turn. It plays tight and it plays long—stay in bounds. The mountain doesn’t give the ball back.
The course opens at 11:30 AM on September 21. Organize your foursome and lock in your time before arrival—don’t show up and hope for the best.
Tee times run in 15-minute intervals. It’s a tight mountain course that plays long—pace of play matters.
House colleagues are glad to fill out a foursome. When you contact the pro shop to set your tee time, reach out to Lauren—she’s keeping track of who wants to play with whom.
Men: Collared shirt with sleeves required. Slacks or golf shorts. No denim, T-shirts, athletic shorts, or tank tops.
Women: Golf dress, skirt, slacks, or shorts with a collared or mock-collared shirt. No denim or athletic shorts.
Shoes: Non-heeled athletic shoes. Soft spikes preferred.
The Fairway Smoker is available on the course during your round — Southern favorites served from the grill. Available at your own cost.
Primland’s 5-stand sporting clays course is one of the finest in the region. Over-under Berettas, UTVs, Blue Ridge views in every direction—and a rabbit run that’ll humble even the regulars.

Beyond golf and clays, Primland offers some of the finest outdoor pursuits in the Blue Ridge. These are available at additional cost—book sooner rather than later. Guide availability is limited and they need to know how many to bring in.

Come for the weekend. Stay for the fundraiser. Stay on property at Primland if you can — no driving, no logistics, just the mountain. If you’re staying off-site, plan your transportation before you arrive. The roads in and out are winding mountain roads and rideshare is not reliable in this area.

The first 20 minutes in and out of Primland are winding mountain roads. After dark and after drinking, they are unforgiving.
If you expect to drink, stay on property or arrange a sober driver in advance. Preplanned transportation can be coordinated — ask the event team.
Uber and Lyft are limited or unavailable in Meadows of Dan, especially late at night. Do not book off-site lodging assuming you can catch a ride at 11 PM.

The closest full-service option for private aircraft is Blue Ridge Regional Airport (KMTV) in Martinsville — they specifically market themselves as the gateway to Primland. Full-service FBO, fuel, and maintenance on site. From there it’s a scenic ~35-minute drive through the Blue Ridge.
Your drive in on US-58 takes you through the newly widened Lovers Leap — a $300 million, 7.4-mile mountain-moving project that transformed one of the most dramatic stretches of highway in Virginia from two lanes to four. Branch Civil finished the job ahead of schedule, moving more mountain than most people will see in a lifetime. The road you’ll drive on September 21 is brand new. Enjoy it.
Primland sits at 3,000 feet in the heart of Patrick County, Virginia — one of the most unspoiled corners of the Blue Ridge. Arrive early. Stay longer. The mountain rewards it.
